Amanda Lambert
Head Chef & Co-Owner
SAIT Alumni, Amanda decided to expand her knowledge of global culture and cuisine, she spent five years throughout Europe at catering companies and fine dining restaurants in Germany, Switzerland, Eastern France, Scotland and London. After 2 years at The Savoy Hotel, Amanda once again packed her bags and moved to Toronto, where she spent the next 5 years working as a Sous Chef at North 44 and Sash. In 2017 Amanda entered in the San Pellegrino Young Chef competition and she was the youngest contestant and only female chef in Canada to reach the semi finals. With a passion for food and people, Meraki Cuisine Catering was formed.
Miltiadis Chiotelis
Chef & Co-Owner
GEORGE BROWN Alumni, Miltos grew up in Athens before his family moved to the idyllic, northeastern Aegean Sea island of Ikaria, famous for its extraordinary honey and wine. Miltos’ own journey began young, picking wild oregano and rosemary on the mountains, learning to make fresh cheese and taking care of the farm animals. One of his greatest hobbies is spearfishing off of islands in Greece. He has years of experience with Mediterranean cuisine, bringing a healthy, fresh and pure approach to Meraki. Miltos came to Canada in 2015 to learn about Canadian cuisine. He joined the team at Sash Restaurant and Wine Bar, where he and Amanda Met.
